Elizabeth's Author Biography:

Knowing that there is always something new to be learned from the world and people around me, I am innately curious. Old photos, traditions, family history and stories, outmoded gadgets, and yearbooks are some of my favorite sources of inspiration and exploration. To satisfy these interests I love to spend time with family close to home and to explore the wider world, traveling with my husband, locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally. I also love sharing what I’ve learned with others, so teaching is a natural fit professionally and writing my cookbook was the perfect outlet personally.  

Formally, I earned a B.A. in English from Washington College in Chestertown, MD and an M.A. from North Carolina State University. I have taught in independent schools for more than fifteen years.
